Whittington Park are Recruiting!

Whittington Park Community Association are recruiting a 55 plus Social Club Coordinator

WPCA require a CV and cover letter of no more than one page explaining your suitability for the role. Applications can be sent in immediately to jo.corrall@whittingtonpca.org.uk and they will be interviewing ASAP. Due to the short time frame, there is no end date for the applications so please send as soon as possible. Applications will be reviews on a rolling basis. 

The ideal start date is 1st August to include a handover with the current co-ordinator however WPCA recognise this is very short notice so can be flexible if necessary.

Aims of the post:

To run 3 weekly sessions for 55 plus social club. Includes social club and lunch club 3 times per week Supporting additional activities
Currently includes

• Film club

• Poetry group

• Dance and Exercise classes

• Art group

• Gardening

• IT training

  The aim is to foster independence and reduce loneliness and isolation offering older people the opportunity to contribute towards their services and community. Ensure older people receive a range of good quality services and access to information that supports independence and works to reduce social isolation. Promote activities and services that provide positive images of older people in our community.
