Super Stew

In addition to the Cost of Living Events, and Warm Places being run across the borough this winter, ten members of the Octopus Network have received Local Initiative Fund funding from Islington Council to run a series of Super Stew events.

Each event will include a warm meal and an activity, ranging from live music, to games, to a quiz.

Here’s what’s happening, where and when:

Every Wednesday, 12.30 - 1.30pm, MIldmay Community Centre; hot soup or stew

Every Thursday, 11am - 2pm, The Peel Community Centre; soup, activities and games

24th November, 5-8pm, St Lukes Community Centre; stew, music, arts & crafts and information

30th November, 12 - 1.30pm, Elizabeth House Community Centre; lunch and live music

3rd December, 12.30 - 4pm, Hornsey Lane Estate Community Association; lunch, quiz, mince pies and live music

13th December, 10am - 4.30pm, HNG, the Old Fire Station; stew, carols, elders exercise & Egyptian dance class
